Transition

IMG_5629

It feels like forever since I last sat down and typed out a blog post. The past few months have been hectic with getting back in the routine of school, work, etc. Finding time to do it all is truly a balancing act. While taking these photos, I was thinking about how great it felt to be in front of the camera, creating content again.

For this look I wanted to show how I transition from summer to fall. It’s been hot…annoyingly hot in Philadelphia. I love the summer time, but once I’m back at school and it hits September, I’m ready for the cozy fall weather. Most of the pieces in my closet can be styled in a multitude of ways. Simply pairing a turtleneck instead of a tank top with a mini skirt can change the whole look.

I threw on some simple black mules and added a pop of color with my suede cabbie hat and Staud – inspired bag. I finished this look off with some gold detailing and a burnt – orange gloss, perfect for a day out with the girls!

Til’ next time, xx
